Here in the UK...I absolutely agree with you Jimmy. <br><br>Here in the UK we have the same problems: we have a great many children and elderly people living in poverty, and a great many homeless people too. In this age of austerity, a great many people have lost their jobs--through no fault of their own--and house repossessions are on the increase because people can't make their mortgage payments and some young families end up living in dreadful conditions. <br><br>It's incredibly sad that people are suffering anywhere in the world, but I have a problem with giving so much aid to overseas when we have so much suffering under our own noses.
