I had a similar experience (lots of them actually but only one involving my Grandfather) shortly after my Grandaddy died. I was young. I think around 11 and my parents would not let me go to the funeral because they thought I was too young and I was SO upset that I didn't get to go and say goodbye. The night after his funeral I was going through a room to go upstairs to my room and could swear my grandaddy was standing there in the doorway just smiling at me. I turned to look back in the living room to see if anyone was behind me (they weren't) and turned back around and he was gone. I think he knew I was upset and was trying to let me know it was ok. He was one of my favorite people ever in my life. So, yes, I believe YOUR grandaddy was just checking in to let you know. And I wouldn't doubt your son probably saw him when he was young and just doesn't remember.Peggyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18126686031586152513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677172151591739382.post-71503381772955066922010-06-11T09:14:23.980-07:002010-06-11T09:14:23.980-07:00Thank You Susie, It is a comforting thought that o...Thank You Susie, It is a comforting thought that our loved ones can remain so to say, whether they be ghosts that have not passed over or the persons energy still within us it is a blessing to remember and feel their presence once again.

Yes Sir Joe, I too think GrandDaddy was just peeking in to give him a look over, the story about your Father and the clock is one I can see happening I bet he stepped in and fixed that clock.

Hey Angelia, I will have to look back for your post, I believe there are so many energies left behind out there that sometimes we who were not actually close to the family just gets swept up in it. I am not sure if I believe in spirits but I beleive in energy and connecting with people on that level...even if they have gone somewhere else...after death. I have had dreams that have come true and I have some strange ability if I think about someone long and hard enough they appear in one way or another in my life. I love the story about your grandfather. It was so touching. But you have given me some hope...that when i do lose people that are important to me I might get to see them one day again. It is a comforting thought.DrSoosiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04445723747109775244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677172151591739382.post-23305013535654991902010-06-10T09:17:22.152-07:002010-06-10T09:17:22.152-07:00Wow. One day while visiting my landlord in their home, I saw what seemed to be the spirit of a young man with a beard, running up a flight of stairs. It happened so quickly; totally catching me off guard, I actually jumped. I was the only one in the room at the time, so no one else saw it. To this day, I often wonder who it was.

Thank you for sharing such an AWESOME post, my friend!

Loved it!!!!Ronhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15977027331657615697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677172151591739382.post-79082343424624733462010-06-10T07:39:10.910-07:002010-06-10T07:39:10.910-07:00Oh Jimmy!
