My Favorite Things Monday

Sarah over at No, Don’t and Stop listed some of her favorite things and asked for some of us to join in, so here goes---sorry Sarah better late than never huh

Here are a few of my Favorite Things:

1. I love good friends and family, you just can’t go wrong with either

2. My wife and the trouble she gives me that says I Love You

3. My new Daughter in Law, I have told her for a long time she is my Favorite

4. A slow warm rain and sitting on the porch watching it.

5. I love the mountains and the feeling of peace you get while there.

6. Road trips, and the excitement of not knowing what you will find next.

7. The feeling you get while riding a Motorcycle on a Road Trip.

8. The unconditional Love you get from children and pets.

9. Writing down my feelings and stories from my past.

10. Preparing to tell those stories to the new Grandbaby as soon as he gets here.

  1. Well I love your favorite things...especially your love of writing down your feelings and stories from the past. This is how I am getting to know you better and better. I too share many of the same things as my favorites...particularly the love of my family and friends. You are a lucky man to be able to have such simple things to fulfill you.

  6. Hey Joe,

Simple things work for me and they are a whole lot better when relaxation and peace are involved.

  7. I love all of your list, but #7 stuck out for me.

  8. What a faaaaaabulous list of favorite things, Jimmy!

I too love the mountains and the feeling of peacefulness when I'm there. It's funny, because for being such a big city boy, there is a part of me that also loves a more "nature setting." I honestly feel comfortable in both.

"The unconditional Love you get from children and pets."

Yes, without a doubt, me too!!!!

Thanks for sharing Jimmy. Great post!

  9. Heather,

I always did love riding and to eliminate the no feeling in the rear I had some extra work done on my seat--the one on the bike that is--that seemed to help :^)
