She's Some Kind Of Wonderful

I met this girl when I walked into her business while I was working for the water company, over the next few years I ran into her several times and she always treated me well we actually struck up a friendship and discussed our children, the weather, and whatever else friends discuss when seeing one another, she even coached my youngest son in t-ball she had a big impact on his life in those early years and I never knew at the time how much of an impact she would have on mine later on.

After about ten years of friendship she and I both found ourselves unmarried and often saw each other and always asked how the other was doing, she once came into the water company to pay her bill and yelled at me as I walked by “Hey Jimmy we are going out tonight, why don’t you meet up with us” I said I would think about it and went about my business, why would I rain on her parade so to say by showing up on her outing, she was a friend and I know she was just being nice now that she knew I was alone, I was too dumb at the time to realize that she was in a round about way asking me out and “we” was a group of friends. The stars finally lined up, the tables turned, someone smacked me on the back of the head or whatever you want to call it but she handed me her phone number at the ball field one evening while we were watching the kids play ball, soon we had our first date and next week will be our thirteenth wedding anniversary but Today join me in wishing a Happy Birthday to:
