  2. Hey Ron, This little guy visits us quite often, I have the skinned pine cones in the front yard to back up that statement Ha Ha

Thank You Buddy glad you enjoyed it.

  3. That's a great photo! I love squirrels also. Too bad there are so many hawks and coyotes around here... the little guys are their main food source...
wild animals spend half their time trying to find food and the other half trying not to "be" food...

  4. Yes Sir Pat, They do spend their lives either looking for food or hiding from predators, we are like you in that the hawks and coyotes live here too.

  5. It looks like you might be having some fried squirrel for dinner if he doesn't make the right move there. I find all the squirrels in my yard eat all the fruit off he trees. but I still like them even if they are really just rats with cuter outfits.

  6. Almost all of my entire home is covered with creepers of all sorts, and we often have nests of squirrels there. We have red and grey squirrels here, but it is the red one's that cause all of the damage. Hawks and kestrels are common too, and I can watch them hovering in the sky for about 15 minutes, never moving, just going with the therms, until they dive down for a mouse, rabbit or a kitten!
Fascinating to watch though. We also have eagles, but they are protected.

  7. Thank You Cheqna :^)

Hey Susie, It is funny how they can run on those wires without any problems, I think as long as they are not grounded they are safe, “rats with cuter outfits” Ha Ha never thought about it this way.

Hello Alice, All I have seen around here so far has been the gray squirrel, yes nature at work is an amazing thing to watch even though it appears cruel at times it is still neat to watch.

  8. He is really cute. I like squirrels, but hubby hates them. Hubby calls the vermits, but half the time I really think he is just joking.

I love what DrSoosie said!! LOL!
