It appears that I have been missing in action, so I thought that I'd update everyone as to why.
Most of you remember my heart attack last year, well in December I began again showing symptoms, a followup echocardiogram did not come out well, and the angiogram with hopes for another stent was not an option, I am now recovering from open heart surgery and more damage than we were expecting was found, so at some point there was another heart attack.
I have been blessed with an amazing family whose support has been without end, Cindy in addition to being my loving wife is now also my caregiver, and with her help the healing process has begun and is going well.
With this said I have decided to put Jimmys Opinion on the back burner for a while, and thought all of you should at least know where Cindy and I have been.
My thanks go out to all of you who have been there for me, I appreciate the friendships, comments, and kindness you have all given me in your own unique ways and the fact that I simply can't keep up right now tells me that it is time to close this chapter.
Life is still good, just running on a different track for now, God Bless you all.
Oh, Jimmy! I was worried that something was wrong when you went MIA again. Im glad you came back to let us know. I understand and will keep you in my reader should you decide to return some day. Much love to you and Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bijoux, I didn't want everyone to think that I had simply dropped you, I am blessed to have found friends like you.
Deletei had wondered where you went. i am so glad you have made it through the surgery and hope healing and recovery will go well. bless you and your wife.
ReplyDeleteThank you mam, I believe that the hard part is behind us now.
DeleteI've been wondering where you were. I'm so sorry to hear about your heart. Even mentions of heart issues give me flashbacks of everything Michael went through and how difficult that has been. You and Cindy will be in my thoughts and prayers and if you feel like talking, email me.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Jimmy!
Hey Ms. A I do trust and believe in the power of prayer, this is what has brought me this far, I appreciate you always being there and just may give you a yell.
DeleteHoping you make a quick speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteBetty
Thank you Betty
DeleteJimmy and Cindy...my thoughts and healing prayers go out to both of you. This is a time where you both need healing. I've been there! While I understand your need to leave the blog (for now) I want to recommend a book called Heartmates. http://www.heartmates.us/ This book was an invaluable help to both Rich and myself when we were dealing with years of heart problems. I can't say enough for this book. Let me know how you're doing from time to time. bouncinbarb1960@gmail.com Take care of yourselves!
ReplyDeleteThanks Barb, I'll give it a look
DeleteTake care. I'm sending positive thoughts your way for a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteI Thank you for the positive thoughts Stephen
DeleteJimmy, like Bijoux, I was worried that something might have happened concerning your health when you stopped blogging for awhile. Thanks so much for letting us know and I so admire you for keeping such a positive attitude by looking at life as still being good. Glad to hear that you're doing well and healing.
ReplyDeleteYou take, buddy, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. And if you should decide to come back, know that I will be here.
X to you and Cindy!
Hey Ron I appreciate you more than you will ever know Buddy
DeleteI was wondering about you, too. I'm glad you updated us. We all understand your focus needs to be on getting better now - and I believe you will make a full recovery. With determination like yours and a wife like Cindy, you have good circumstances for beating this.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything, and will see you when you decide to make a return to blogging!
I agree with you 100% that circumstances are on our side here, and support from good people like you mean the world, Thank you.
DeleteWow, thanks for checking in. I wish you a quick, "uneventful" recovery!
ReplyDeleteHey Abby I am so ready for uneventful, Thank you
DeleteI feared something dreadful had happened. God bless you, Jimmy, and keep you from hurting too much. You will be in my thoughts daily. I have similar at home but so far Joe is only as far as his first stent. Much love to you ... and Cindy, with whom I can identify. Catch up with you when you're feeling better, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie, I know you and Joe have had your plates full dealing with the same fears as we, and dear friends as you help us get through them, Thank you
DeleteJimmy and Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear this, but very happy to hear you are recovering. I'm also sorry you won't be posting for a while. However, I don't need your blog to see you, cause I'll be in the area in two weeks. If you are feeling up to it, I'll be knocking on your door. I'll send you an email. Tak care my friend. Hello to Cindy also.
ReplyDeleteHey Pat, that sounds like a plan my friend, I 'll be looking forward to seeing you soon.
DeleteGod bless you, Jimmy. I hope things are progressing decently by now. I recall how hard it was for My Dad for the first few weeks after bypass surgery. I'll say a prayer for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim, I appreciate you my good friend.
DeleteWishing you blessings of good health, Jimmy.
ReplyDeleteThank you SuziCate
