Thinking About Friends

Ok here I am, I don’t claim to write like Jimmy but here we go. I was just sitting here thinking about friends, you know the ones that are there no matter what, and then you have those who are just fly by night friends. And then you have those that just don’t know when not to cross that line with your kids, and when they do you see red and when you try to talk to them about it they just can’t get it , well I have them all. But I like to think that I am one of those friend that are there for life to help you along when you need it and never cross the line when it comes to the kids. I like to think that I would be one of those friend that if I should mess up that when I was talked to about it I could understand that I was wrong and say I am sorry and still think of you has a good friend, most of my friends are like family you just would not know what to do without them. now for the friends on here you all have been wonderful to Jimmy and I Love You for that. I know you all are real friends thank you for that. Well I did my best and thought I would throw one out there.

  1. Hi Cindy!

    *waving*

It's so great to see you posting!

I feel the same way you do about friends. I don't have a lot of friends, however the ones that I do have are precious to me. I know that they would always be there for me, and me for them. They are also the kind of friends where we respect one anothers boundries; knowing when to talk and when not to talk.

Just from knowing you here on this blog, I can tell that you and Jimmy are the same way.

    True blue friends!

  11. Hi Cindy...now I feel like we have met finally. I feel like i know you so well as jimmy has made you an integral part of his blog. I consider him to be one of my close friends as he has been so supportive to me with all the health issues we share. The one thing I admire most about him is his lov and devotion to you. It is obvious you have instilled in him a deep love and sense of commitment which is lovely. I am the one person here who knows how hard being the spouse of a diabetic can be at times and I thank my own wonderful husband all the time for being my partner not only in life but in my illness as well. So nice to meet you and I hope to meet you both in person very very soon!!!

  13. Wonderful to hear from you Cindy!

I love your veiws on friendship. Right on!!

I have found that it takes a person with good conscience to know when they have messed up and know when to say they are sorry. Those are the folks that make the best friends. It's the family/friends that are the hardest to deal with.

Hope to hear from you again!

  19. GO CINDY! YAY... sorry so late with replying. I was at my parents and didn't have internet connection so I had to be very sparing with any time I had (at the coffeehouse) to post etc so I am just getting around to catching up with my reading. So glad to meet you!
