A Recipe To Die For

Jimmy told me that a few of you were asking for my Hamburger Queso recipe, and some of the other recipes for the dishes we had over at Bob and Martha’s, to tell you the truth I don’t have any idea what their recipes were, they had stuff all over the place and next thing I knew they were throwing it into a bowl.
I have always told Jimmy that my recipe was a secret and if I told him that I would have to kill him, so if you all want Jimmy to live you can’t tell him the recipe..Shhhhh You have to start with hamburger, cream of chicken soup, diced green chilies, a jar of Tostitos Queso cheese dip, and shredded cheese, and the secret ingredient is a large bowl of love.
First thing you do is pat the hamburger out into patties, enough to feed as many people as you have invited over to test out this recipe, either fry the patties or if your husband is getting in the way this is a good job for him to take out to the grill.
Next open the can of cream of chicken soup and pour into a saucepan, add one can of green chilies and jar of cheese sauce, heat until mixture is smooth.
Layer cooked hamburger patties into a casserole dish, and pour cheese mixture over the patties, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, just as much as you like or until it looks good.

Cover dish with foil, and bake at 350 until cheese is bubbly.

I usually prepare this ahead of time and keep it in the fridge until I get ready to cook.

Serve with refried beans, salad, and corn chips to dip the cheese with; it is also really good with sour cream added when served.

This is my famous hamburger queso dish; it’s really easy and really good too, it is well worth killing for, and if you feel you are getting ready to kill your hubby, send him out to grill the burgers for you.
